Eyes rolling hectically, chasing the imaginary,
It startles you, the dull electronic chatter.
Nary a doubt: Somethin’s cooking in this dinery!

Blazing gold and utter cold, served on a silver platter,
It stands as a cautionary token: An orb, all binary.
You vainly try words not written in a dictionary,
With grasping hands, you crave for the illusionary.

Then your mind breaks, like a priceless china you shatter,
Its shards reflecting forsaken dreams, as they scatter.
This is nothing, really, but the ordinary.
Take it for granted: You are mad like a hatter!
