#115 – The call of Gaïa (Static)
#115 – The call of Gaïa (Panimating)
The mindset is exploratory, inquisitive, archeological …
I fill dragged into a journey down the deep valleys, winding canyons and dark forests of our planet at its most primitive stage.
And behind the beating of the drums and the complaint of the didgeridoo, I hear something else … something warm and friendly … the call of Gaïa.

For once I had my iPad mini loaded on the bedside table, and after a few random taps, I ended up firing up the amazing Frax.
And after a series of iterations to tweak the colours, the light setting, the texture, the point of view, I found a corner of the Julia set as of yet unexplored. The music in my ear, a rather downtempo primal mix with aboriginal accents, from Sangeet aka Andreas Pfeiffer, a veteran DJ I discovered only recently.
The song is titled “Calling the Ancestors”, and it’s been remixed by the Swedish duo Elfenberg.
The mindset it induces is exploratory, inquisitive, archeological … I fill dragged into a journey down the deep valleys, winding canyons and dark forests of our planet at its most primitive stage. And behind the beating of the drums and the complaint of the didgeridoo, I hear something else … something warm and friendly … the call of Gaïa.
